Our Village Learning Centre (VLC) (www.otpawora.org) here in northern Uganda just before the border with South Sudan continues to develop and has a positive impact on the environment. More and more neighbours are discovering that they themselves can change something about their situation. David and Paul were able to find new instructors and operations will […]
Something culinary
Since we are somewhat limited with our possibilities here in Otacpab, we have adapted to our environment with our lunch. So at noon we eat beans every day, delicious dressed with onions and tomato. In addition, there is usually a porridge, called posho. Either only from brown millet or mixed with Kasava (manioc) flour as […]
The challenge of drinking
We are once again in Otacpab. Every time I am amazed. On the following picture you can see our drinking water: So it comes out of our pipe after Peter has taken it from the well and poured it into our barrel. Brrr sure you can understand that this is a challenging sight. We then […]

Village Learning Centre
Last year we dreamed of a Christian home-schooling curriculum that we could adapt to teach children reading, writing, arithmetic and much more. In our Newsletter December 2018 we reported about it. Now we discovered a service in Uganda that already does just that. This sounds extremely interesting for otacpab as well.
